loadSubjectData( name )

Loads the given data into the Events table in the database and automatically associates it with the current session, trial and phase (if applicable).  This function works very quickly, because the subject data is actually cached in-memory so this function does not actually “hit” the database.

Arguments

name

The name of the subject data to load.

Returns

The data that was previously saved into the database. If no data was previously saved into the database the function returns “false” and you will get an important notice in the application messages window. To avoid this message you can use the hasSubjectData() function to first test if the subject even has the data you need.

Example

Loads an important piece of subject data from the database.

For a much more comprehensive example please see the “Long-term memory” example experiment.
